Call Blocker

call blocker

While I’d stop short of calling it a disgrace to logic and design, this device purports to shield you from evil salesmen and telemarketers by announcing this message to all incoming calls:

“You have reached CallBlocker™ and not an answering machine. All commercial sales calls and fund raising requests are not accepted, place this number on your do not call list. Personal and invited callers press 5 on your touch phone to proceed.”

Right. That REALLY makes sense huh.

    Hello,
My company markets the CallBlocker in the UK and I thought it would help to explain to you how the unit works. The CallBlocker is designed specifically to stop silent and nuisance telemarketing calls, and at least 90% of these are caused by computer diallers. These machines will randomly select numbers to call, and once they are connected only then will a sales person be allocated a call. Often there will not be enough operatives to respond to all the numbers answered, and it is then a home will receive a silent call. These computers, once your number is recognised as active, will keep calling you – often at inconvenient times and more than once a day.
The CallBlocker stops these computer generated calls with the message that asks friends and family to press 5 – as the computer does not know to press another digit to go through it gets stopped then and there. The CallBlocker also provides you with legal protection, by stating that you do not accept calls from telemarketers any uninvited sales people who would go through the unit are liable to be fined up to £50,000 by OFCOM.

For more information on the product, please visit our website at http://www.callblocker.co.uk or call our team on 0870 066 5016.
