Christmas Greetings with Microwaves

A big warehouse.

A whole bunch of power cables.

A whole bunch of microwave ovens.

To make the most intimate and interesting Xmas greetings video I’ve seen (so far). Doesn’t quite correlate? See it here:

This type of exercise is getting kind of old. In the US, about 10 years ago, there were several TV commercials that showed similar performances using car horns, train horns, actual meows from cats and barks from dogs, a room filled with alarm clocks, coo coo clocks and a funny one using squeaky toys… and bird call too. I certainly appreciate the effort to get the timing just right (and they did a great job), but to me, this would have been a lot more cool if they were the first in concept too. Also, kind of a lot of set up and man-hours for very little reward. What did they do with all of those microwave ovens at the end of the day? They didn’t show the clean-up afterwards – kind of wasteful.

    I hope this doesn’t sound too ba-humbug.

    Merry Christmas!
